Interior door handles - silver paint bubbling up

Interior door handles - silver paint bubbling up
I have a 2005 TL and just noticed today that the driver's side interior door handle looks like the silver paint is bubbling up.
I put my hand on the back of the handle (where someone would grab it) and it feels like the silver paint is peeling off or something.
Has this happened to anyone before? Should the dealer cover this under the warranty?
Again, its an 2005 with less than 10K miles on it (yeah I know, I don't drive that much).
