Interior dome (map/read) lights WON'T TURN OFF?! (PS-Where the HELL are the relays?!)

Yep, you read that correctly. So, in the midst of performing an LED changeover for another 3G'er, I plugged everything back in and was done for the night and the f00king interior lights WON'T turn off.

I am thinking it's got to be a relay (perhaps the door was ajar when I plugged the battery back in and fried a contactor), but I don't know WHAT THE FUCK could be causing this...any idears?

I am probably just going to pull the done lights this evening and hope the car starts in the morning...goddamn this sucks...

Front map lights only? I assume you tried to punch them on/off to see if that was the problem? There is no relay that I can see looking at the ETS manual....What happens when you switch the interior light switch (toggle switch) to off?

Both the front and rear domes.

Pressing the switches? Not a damn thing happens. When you lock the car from the outside, it dims momentarily, but remains on.

I pulled the lights for tonight, I am wholly open to suggestions. I am going to drive to work tomorrow and play with the light at a stoplight to see what happens...

That's a puzzler...All you did was plug and play with LEDs?

If the MID doesn't show a door open indication, I'd have to assume your door switches are good.

You might try resetting the MICU by pulling fuse #7....

Pulling fuse #6 should kill the lights...

SUMMARY: nfnsquared rules, and I thank you graciously for your help.

ROOT CAUSE: Being a dumbass, and not realizing, even after well over 18 months of ownership, that the little switch with the sun on it controls LIGHTS. Never have I used this switch, so of course, I did not bother even looking at it. I must have bumped it getting in and out of the car.

Flame on.

Glad to be of help and that it was a simple fix. Yeah, you're probably not alone. I'm sure there are many who never pay attention to that toggle switch. That switch is easy to hit inadvertently when you're working on the lights and/or the overhead console in general.

Hello acurazine fam,

Hopefully that's the cause of the lights staying on thanks

Make sure the switch is oriented like in the picture, in the center so the lights open with the door! If it's to the left, it'll turn the lights off. To the right it'll keep them on.
