Installed isimple now check engine light and 5 beeps, hoping its not another issue just had timing belt and clutch done, any ideas what the beeping is? Need to drive this car about 6 hours tomorrow so i dont want anything to break thanks for your help guys

 

Go get your codes scanned. The Internet-enabled car troubleshooting module is on the fritz today on Acurazine so we can't scan it for you. Also my crystal ball is down for maintenance as well.

Chances are though you may have messed up some wiring while installing the isimple in the dash. Start with the CEL and go from there though.

 

Thanks i understand your crystal ball may be down today, was just hoping the 5 beeps was a common thing that meant something specific

 

5 beeps from where?

 

maybe the seat belt not being latched beep?

get the CEL code read because we wont be able to offer any advice without that.
