Uhm, you should probably repair it. You don't want any air going in after the filter.

Judging from your avatar, there's another car in the family. I'd use that one just to stay safe.

You know you gotta unscrew it before you remove it right? Buy a new one at the dealership you'll be fine for a little while without it.

I did unscrew it but somehow I can't move everything up . The OEM air filter is too big. Thanks for you guys response . I'm on my way to the stealer. They charge me $34 .

There is a plastic conduit attached to the rear of the upper housing with two clips. Remove that first. Then pull the upper housing up and towards the throttle body enough for the front to clear the fender lip. Yes, it's a PITA.

They looked on computer inventory and had one. They go to pull and and it's not there. Happens all the time. Everywhere!!
They obviously weren't trying to trick you.......

I've got to add, $34 from the dealer is not bad at all. I would have expected MUCH worse.

Leo, sorry for your mishap.
Hopefully the dealer you ordered it from gets it to you on time and the right part.

I have told you that I needed to get my inspection done, but i couldnt do it because my car was not working...
I ordered a part from John Eagle Acura, and it took longer than they said it would.
Then on the morning of the install, I found out it was the wrong part...GRR
My car is now working, and I'll get my car inspected this week. i'll let you know if i pass with the jpipe
