Humming Sound while at 30-35 mph - Faulty Heat Shield

My 3 week old '05 TL has been having this annoying ass problem that has gotten worse over time. If I hold the car between 30 to 35 mph, I get a low humming sound from the driver side of the front axel.

First trip to the dealer yielded an explaination of "It's the transmission spinning, perfectly normal". I take it and the humming gets louder.

Second trip (current), it took them 2 days to find the problem, a faulty heat shield near a "bearing" .

They have ordered the part, so I am stuck with a TSX loaner until Wednesday of next week. My question is, has anyone else who has had this problem? If so, what was the exact location of the heat shield in question. My service rep did not have that info at hand.

Wow, I guess I am the only one. It's a good thing since I don't want this to be a recurring design issue or anything....I hope.
