Humming sound on cold days
So, every morning i start my car around 9:30 AM when its around 32 degrees outside. There is a humming sound that i can very clearly hear from inside the car. when i open the hood it is coming from the area where the timing belt and alternator are. when i turn the wheel the sound gets louder. does anybody know what might be the problem. when i first start the car the idle is around 1200 or 1300.
Today i let it sit there to warm up and every couple of seconds the car vibrates, i feel it in the seat, and on the brake pedal. if this helps any or if this is normal for cold days.

Sounds like a power steering issue: low fluid, bad o-ring, etc. Check the other thread "Weird noise" for fixes.
