How to remove clip from power cable on the air box?

Yesterday i changed my air filter and vacuum the inside of the box. I wanted to remove the top cover but i was only able to pry it open to change the filter. There was a power cable attached to it by 2 clips but i have no idea how to remove those without cutting them. Do i need a specific tool or are these clips a one time thing you have to cut and replace? If pictures are needed i will add them later. Thank you.

there is no power cable ontop of the airbox

remove 4 screws/bolts that hold down the airbox cover and it should come right off

You need needle nose pliers to squeeze the bottom of the clips to remove them.
