how to re-aim my wiper washer

is it me?
the more time i spend in this car (06 tl) i notice more annoying things?
so i got my car back from the dealer after the engine got a new front crankshaft oil seal. (see my other thread about that saga)
so went for a drive and i notice my wind shield was dirty so i pull the lever to let out some washer fluid. it sprayed and the wiper did its thing. didnt get all of out so i did it again. well no washer fluid. i was like what the. the car is 6 weeks old just got out of the dealer shop and they said they took care of everything. just a small thing like filling up my washer fluid would have been nice. anyways not complaining about that exactly. so i went and bought myself a bottle of washer fluid, started to fill it, if you notice the bottle comes in one gallon sizes. wouldnt you know it, i couldnt pour the whole gallon in, i was left with about cup of washer fluid left. whats up with that?
didnt the designer design it so it will hold one gallon? does that make any sesne?
i know japan and the rest of the world is on the whole metric system, but this car is sold here in the usa.

anyways so i filled it up and let it spray my wind shield to wash it while i was in the parking lot. pulled the lever and the washer sprayed my windshield and the roof the back window. it basically sprayed the whole car and now i have all these little dots all over my car. whats up with that?
so my quick question on my top of my rant is. can i reaim my nozzle so it wont spray the whole car?
i have already pop the hood and took a look if i can i cannot.

does anyone else have this problem or i am just special like that?

yeah, i've got the same problem. i'm not sure there is much we can do because i think the sprayer is on the wiper arm and is in a set position.

so this isnt a problem per se, its the design to spray the whole car with wind shield wiper fluid. hmmm...do i see a conspiracy with the car wash industry?

The sprayer is I'm pretty sure under the hood on that black plastic thing that your wipers attached to. Stick a needle into the sprayer and change the direction to your preferable setting. No big deal.

I've found that the easiest way to avoid spraying washer fluid all over the car is to use the washer while the car is moving @ 20 mph or faster. Windshield gets completely clean and the spray that misses the windshield disperses somewhere behind the car (yes, likely on any car following yours).

This bugged me at first but know I don't mind it. When I want to clean the windshield I just tap it a couple times so it doens't spray fully. But if I get someone tailgating me, I go full blast and the spray goes up and over my cars and mist their windshield...Reallly funny. Then you'll see them drop back and their wipers will turn on.

lol i remember the thread like this a month ago, but anyways yeah you can try and use the a needle to adjust the way those washer nozzles are. I havent tried it on the TL since it doesnt really bug me, ive tried it on my previous cars and worked like a charm.

Mine sprays a bit high for my taste, but at freeway speeds, it's probably ideal. Even at 70 MPH, it still can reach the top of the windshield. If it was any lower, the initial spray wouldn't hit the top of the wiper path and I'd be running a dry wiper over the dry glass. As mentioned before, I just tap the lever in short bursts, if I don't want to spray so high.
