How to get reimburse for a recall you performed yourself...

so my power steering hose line leaked and i replaced it with an oem part before knowing about the recall.

I called acura and they say to send in the receipts for the repair job, parts, etc. My question is, since I did the repair myself and not a shop, is there a way I can get paid for the time spent to do the repair? if so, please advise.

Thanks!

Honda will then cover the labor charged by the shop for the work.
