How to fix these CEL Codes
How to fix these CEL Codes
ok heres the story, i took my typeS to the track last night, was able to get 5 runs in... wheel hoping like crazy in 1st and some of 2nd on all the passes... on my 4th run there CEL started blinking as mid way thru the track but went away as i was going down the pit lane or w.e you call it, everything seemed fine, on my last run the light came on as i left the starting line and then it stayed on.. had my nav off but turned it on and all these codes came up
Emission System P0171
Engine System P0301, 303, 304, 306 & P0108
I understand they have to do with misfire being detected but the car runs fine and theres no visible issue however the CEL still on, havent pushed the car since and it doesnt feel any rough or sluggish so what could it be? any idea? im open to suggestions before i take it to the dealer and they give the lame excuses or tell me i have to replace this and that when perhaps i dont...

Right now they are all stored and will be viewed by a code reader, so I'd erase the codes, drive the car and see which, if any system causes the CEL to light. If the code(s) is erased by someway other than the factory scanner, certain learn procedures should be done, at least that's what the FSM implies, but the members here have various ways to circumvent this procedure, or at least that's what they say. Might want to do a search on the ECU reset, or just drive the car as many have done after replacement of a dead battery.

ill tell you the same thing: there's a bulletin 08-043; on the P0171; as for the misfire it could just have been an intermitten glitch;reset the ecu and drive normally let us know if it comes on again and stays on.

so the CEL remained on from friday untill this morning when i got in the car, yesterday i drove the car for a little and it was still on.. this morning i got in the car, turned it on and the light went off and it hasn't come back since.. i was going to reset the ecu by pulling the fuse and leaving it out for a while or just disconnecting the battery but never got to it and now theres no more CEL..
Thanks for the input guys
