I have owned my car for a year and half now and the carbon fiber where the Shifter is getting dole. How can I brighten it up? I know allot of TL's out there has the same problem. I just bought the carbon fiber kit for the center console and the new one is really shinny and the one where the shifter is really dole and it looks tacky how can I fix this problem?

 

try a plastic polish.

 

its not cf, its plactic like above mentioned....try some polish, i believe its dull from very mild hazing or scratching....

 

yea i understand that its plastic i was just trying to detail which part it was. but any ways where do i get this plastic polish from? can i was it? using car polish wax?

 

autozone/pep boys, places like that. Plastic polish is different from car polish. You can also use it on your head/tail lights and any other plastics on the car so its worth it to buy a whole bottle.
