i recently hit a sidewalk with my drivers side and damaged my rack and pinion...I've changed the rack n pinion but still didnt get allignment..I think my steering wheel is more loose than it used to be...does it go back to normal after i get my allignment done or is it something else???

 

I dont think an alignment will change anything with how tight your steering wheel feels. Sounds like something else is messed up to. Try to keep her on the street k, people walk on that sidewalk ;-)

P.S. Since an alignment will be needed anyway might as well just get it done. Maybe they will see something wrong while under the car to.

can it be the control arm is messed up also?

 

Were the tie rods replaced? Could be the ball joint on the tie rod
