Hot air coming out center right dashboard vent

hi all,
the right dashboard vent above the navigation /audio touch screen is blowing hot air regardless of my HVAC setting, even when the AC is on and the other vents are blowing cold air, or when the heat is on and hot air is coming out the vents in the footwells. (I haven't checked the passenger side dashboard vent, i don't know if its connected to the center right vent or not).

Is this an easy fix? Where do I begin troubleshooting?

thanks for any help - 69k original miles and the only problems so far were the drivers side seatbelt buckle and the driver door actuator.

Start with determining what's coming out of the other vents (passenger vents) and see if it's also hot. When you change the mode, does the air come out of the correct holes? (i.e. floor, face, defroster)

Make sure your Dual setting isn't on.

thanks for the response, no matter what I change the center-right vent blows hot air. I have tried manually setting the airflow to the floor and turning on the AC. I've turned dual off and on. Nothing. I'm assuming "something" is stuck that is directing warm air out that vent.

So basically everything works exactly as it should, except you constantly have hot air coming out of the center-right vent? Per Jase13's suggestion, did you also make sure the "Dual" setting is not on?

I would check to see if the passenger vent near the door is blowing same as center right. Then maybe you have an issue with your Dual setting. If it is only the center right, well, you got me there.
