Hose collapsed due to vacuum.

So I was going to use seafoam on the car and noticed the hose (circled in red) was collapsed when the car is running. I don't think air is passing through the hose. I'm not getting any check engine lights and the car runs so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Maybe someone can shed some light on this for me.

Looks like it's for the engine ventilation system and connects to the purge valve. If it's collapsed, replace it with a thick walled unit, or a hose that will be able to hold its shape under pressure. If it's the OE hose, uncommon, but maybe weak from age, but if a replacement, someone used regular rubber hose that can't hold up to the vacuum.
