Hi Folks,

Recently bought an 06' TL from a local Acura dealership with around 85K KM's on it. I've had the car for about a week and so far so good. However, one thing that I've noticed is that the hood liner is somewhat warped and has started to slip out of the notches that have it in place. The clips are still intact and holding the liner in place. Can anyone recommend a quick fix to get the liner from becoming so flimsy? I've brought this to the attention of the dealership and i've been informed that it's not covered under the warranty... Thoughts?

Thanks,

You'll soon learn that the engine has terrible heat soak issues.....I would get rid of the plastics & hood liner asap. It just helps contribute to the heat soak issues and creates an "oven".

I removed mine this weekend and noticed nothing in terms of the under hood noise being more audible in the cabin or outside.
