The "Honeymoon" is over

I was in a great mood, had just gooten back from a weeks vacation in Vegas and now this!! Went to the movies with husband on Friday night and everything was great. Saturday, when he was washing my car he called me over to show me a big scratch on the passenger's door. Someone keyed my car, it's about 10 inches long. I have a 2005 Acura that was in perfect condition, now some evil paerson had to ruin our honeymoon phase
Any advice??

can be fixed easily with some touch-up paint, sand paper, and some clearcoat.

If you're not a DIY person, take the car to a detailer or body shop.

If the color coat is OK, a detailing shop may be able to hide the scratch.
If you are a DIY person, try a light polish to see if it begins to hide the scratch. If it does, polish the scratch and wax. If not, see the detailer or body shop.

And congratulations on your marriage!

How did you guess??

No Will, I am not a DIY person, especially when it comes to my Acura. I do clean it myself and help wash it, and keep up the maintenance on my car, but that's as far as I go. Husband shrugged and said, "It's not that bad".. yeah it's not his car!! Will go to body shop and se what they say.. just didn't want to get "cheated" by a body shop claiming the whole door panel has to be painted.
As usual thanks for the advice guys

Katira- if you can, post pics of it and then some of the members can give you some insight as to what it will cost.
