I had a 2004 TL automatic transmission replaced by Acura last December and this month it failed again and it caused and accident and the car was total loss. Honda can not build a transmission. Get rid of it before someone gets hurt. I'm done with Honda products.

Pretty general statement there saying all Honda transmissions are junk. I am assuming you had an auto and I will admit the automatic transmission in the TL is not the best, but it is definitely not the worst transmission ever made either. I have owned 5 different Honda motorcycles and the transmissions have been nothing short of amazing.

That said I can see why you would be disappointed. I myself have had my transmission replaced in my auto TL and I would be upset if this new one died after only 1 year. Especially if it ended up causing an accident.

Don't OEM parts from the dealer come with a 12-month warranty?

Is your driving style causing these failures?

 

even if you take a car to the track the transmission would last over a year at the very least assuming it's built right.

OP, you should have some kind of warranty from your transmission builder

 

If honda cant "built" transmissions, then you can't spell.
