High Pitch Buzzing Sound When Accelerate

I just purchased a 05 TL with 106,000 miles. They did the 105,000 maintenance and replaced all four tires. After driving off the lot I noticed a high pitch buzzing sound only when it's in gear. I've read previous threads and haven't really found out exactly what can be causing this issue. I've ruled out the power steering issue because it doesn't do it until I have put the shifter in drive and start to accelerate. It's not a brake noise either. I talked to the mechanic and he said it could be the gears in the transmission and not to worry about it because he's heard this from other TL's with 60,000 miles on it. I'm just nervous because I hope it's not the transmission. Any advice or help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Whudini3000 it only occurs when i'm moving forward. It kind of sounds like a turbo whining up.

No, and after just driving it. It only occurs between 1500 and 3000 RPM. I don't know if that's becuase the engine is drowning it out. I've tried pressing down on the brake and revving the engine to see if i can re-create the noise. That didn't work or i would take a video.

weird. Is one of few things. 1. The heat shield. 2. Your Tires. 3 (in my case) Power steering. In first gear@ 900rpms I would get a whirring noise, though I didnt think it would be the power steering because no noise was present when I would turn the wheels, it turned out to be so. Apparently the last owner used the wrong PS fluid..

I got my car back from the dealership today.
The reason i brought it in because it was making a high pitch chirping/beeping tone. Just like you described, but mine happens when i accelerate quick or reverse quick.

Anyways it turned out that my rotor mount bolt was missing so it was hitting some part beside it, unfortunately i forgot what its called. So pretty much every time i accelerate quick the toque jump, which makes the rotor mount swing up hitting another part to cause the sound. Vice versa, if i reverse quickly the rotor mount swing back hitting that same part to cause the sound.

This is a brief summary that i can remember from what the technician at Valencia Acura told me. Btw these guys are really helpful, their services so far has been spectacular.
Hope that help narrowing down your problem

Thank you both of you for your input. I will jack my car up this weekend try to narrow down where the noise is coming from. I hope it's somewhere around the wheel than a transmission issue.

I brought it to the dealership and they said the noise is caused by a worn out half shaft cover. Thank you all for you help.
