Hello to make a long story short my HID's were being flickered on and off rapidly and im guessing that broke it. The passenger HID is now out. Is this ballast or bulb?

also, can i use an aftermarket HID kit on the TL? whats the headlight size? thanks!

 

you can begin to diagnose by swapping the bulb from the working side to the non working side. If it still doesnt work, you know it's not the bulb at that point.

You can use aftermarket, it's D2S. Try to stick with OEM or OE equivalent (82511+, CBIs, etc.) though if it's just the bulb that's bad. If it's the bulbs, you want to replace in pairs because as bulbs age they color shift, usually to a higher kelvin until they go all out and turn pink/red.
