Wats going on azine, I decide to record a clip of whats going on with my HIDs. The problem im currently having is while turning ON or OFF the headlight only one side will turn on?, but the problem is ill turn off the lights and then bak on and ill get the opposite side on??!!! I'll try turning them OFF again and ON and neither of them will turn ON!!! I dont get it wtf is going!

That is really wierd. Wait til the headlight experts answer this, JnC should be able to help.

 

Doesn't the micu control the lights, maybe its acting up, that is the only thing I can think of.

 

Good point joker,these cars MICU's seem to have issues. Not very frequently, but enough so that there is even SB's out on it.

If it happens all the time,everytime,exactly like that. I would start there first,check the connections.Then move on to swapping bulbs to opposite sides. I wonder if the Combination switch itself could be acting up as well; something to think about...

 

Its random bulb light up, first you have one side, then the other, then none, then one again. Its so random, that considering the bulbs or switch isn't really an option. Personally I would be surprised if it is the bulb or switch.

 

don't think is the switch because my parking lights turn on, unless I'm wrong and headlight part of the switch can go bad? this is seriously crazy lol

 

does this always happen or is it at random times?

 

looking at your video again, i noticed that the foglight was only coming on for the headlight that came on. That further leans me towards the MICU.

 

^^ actually fog was off, seems like the reflection of the projector lighted up the fog pocket

 

Now is back to normal.... I swear my car is going insane lol

That it's weird I'm having similar problem but it's only the driver side as soon I turn them on the corner light "switch back " twitches amber white for a few seconds and then goes to normal. But the hid wont go on but the other day it seem thats it was fix but the next day whent back to doing it SORRY DON'T WANNA THREAD JACK but can't find what's casing this
