HFL wires to steering wheel
HFL wires to steering wheel
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out which wires of the HFL (Hands Free Link) harness are connected to the talk and end call buttons of the steering wheel. I don't want to mess around with the steering wheel and I figured it would be easier to tap into the HFL harness.
Here is what I am doing. I replace my stock radio HU with a Pioneer Double Din Touch screen. It has built in blue tooth for which I have a PAC steering wheel control module to control the talk and end call of the HU from the steering wheel. Since I am not using the HFL , I want to tap into the wires.
Anyone know which color wires I need to tap into?
Thanks,
Herb

Ok. I got no replies so I will try a different route. I want to tap into the steering wheel wire connected to the "talk" and "end call" buttons for the HFL. I was told there was a grey wire from the clock spring, but all I see is a grey/red wire. I'm trying to find the electrical harness connector wiring diagram and I have a manual which does not have page 22-443. Does anyone know which wire is connected to the HFL buttons? A link to the wiring diagram would be great.
Thanks.
Thanks.
