HFL problem

So I read up on all of the problems and fixes. My button on the steering wheel stopped working about a week ago. I ordered a new module that goes up by sunroof button from oemhonda. So yesterday the button started working again?? The button works now, but will not link to my phone. Sometimes the phone icon goes on in the display when I first start the car, but only stays on for a few seconds. I do go into the phone to try to manually pair phone, but doesn't work. Also today the button stopped working briefly, but then started working again. Should I just install the new module or is there anything else I should try?

You can try baking the HFL module circuit board(s) to see if that resurrects the existing HFL-- see https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...5#post14709539 ; there are a couple of other threads that mention this fix.

Otherwise, replacement of the old HFL with a new unit should do the trick-- the problem is not the steering wheel buttons, but the HFL itself, which locks up and shows a "booting up" message in the MID.

My original HFL was intermittent for a few days before it became totally unresponsive.

Put new module in...works great! Anyone know of where to get old one fixed to keep as a back-up?
