Hesitations under heavy load

About 2 months ago I noticed my car hesitate really badly during a hard acceleration. Did it again a few days later. At first it would only do it if you sat a higher RPM's for a short period of time like 5-8 seconds, and punched it. Now it's been doing it very often while revving through the rev band under WOT. Typically it occurs around 4-5,000. Feels like a misfire almost.

Tonight I replaced the plugs (NGK 6994) even though the current ones only had 40k. They looked good when I pulled them out, but Figured might as well. Also ran some chevron w/ techron through the tank in hopes that maybe its a dirty injector or something.

Went out tonight and it did it again. Anyone have any idea's of what else it could be? Car has never thrown a CEL for it.

2007 TL-S 6MT.

check oil level, vtec runs off oil pressure. Low oil leads to pressure loss causing hesitation.

Good suggestion. Never thought of that. I just did an oil change last night too though along with the spark plugs :/.
