hesitation problem
it seems that if im in 2nd or 3rd gear and i try to speed up it only goes so far and than it chokes and i have to shift up, any ideas on what it could be?

If the tach is up by the red line, then you are probably hitting the rev limiter, which is a computer controlled protection so you don't over rev the engine.
Your check engine light will also flash in this situation until you upshift and lower the revs.
If it is at lower revs, it could be you have used regular gas or gotten some bad fuel.
If it is none of these, see your dealer.

Its time to see the dealer, bad gas would not cause your problem, the engine would run crappy at all speeds and in all gears.
Even bad gas should trigger the check engine light.
Odd that you would have the problem without any alarms, try turning the stability system off and see if it still does it.
