Unhappy Help with steering

Hey ppl new here. So i just got my 08 wdp tl-s with 42500k on it a week ago. Its my first acura and i was wondering about the steering on it. It feels very hard, harder than anything eles that ive ever driven. I checked the power steeering fluid on it and its fine. I am a girl :-/ and ive never really had to use to hands to turn on a corner. I thought maybe its supposed to be that way since it is a heavier car and a tl-s maybe the steering was needed that way for better handling. Would love to here from other 3g tl-s owners!

It is a sportier, firmer steering effort on the type S. Time to shape up them arms girl I think you'll get used to it. The new ones even feel more different with the electro-assist steering.

Try a couple of lbs more on the front tires, that'll help for sure.

The Type-s has harder steering, it also varies between the automatics vs manuals. There is a common problem with the TL's including the MDX's in which when your not moving and in PARK turn the wheel it's very hard, but attempt to do this again with the RPMS being at 1,500-2000 still in PARK and turn the wheel if it free's up and it's dramatically different then you need a new P/S Pump. In your case you should be in Warranty, call your local dealer and provide them the year, model and mileage and have them validate if you still have warranty, if anything providing them with the VIN can also tell them the same. If your not in Warranty, no worries it's a very easy job to do the pump itself isn't much money.

It can still be a faulty pump, don't think just because it was replaced it's functional. Now, you may also have a steering rack that's binding, the only way to test this by having a technician/mechanic remove the tie-rods from the hubs and see if the steering wheel turns freely with little resistance, if it still feels the same then it's a bad steering rack. Let us know what the outcome is.
