Question HELP: Removing Roof Spoiler; Held on by Window Weld

I am having some trouble, as I want to remove my ATLP roof spoiler, but it's held on with 3M Window Weld, making it very difficult to do so. I just recently blacked out my roof, and now want to take off the spoiler to do the same.

I used Window Weld instead of double sided tape becasue I heard some horror stories of peoples spoilers flying off their cars at high speeds, and didn't want to risk it.

Today I used my heat and and tried to heat the spoiler and window, in hopes that the glue would loosen up, but it didn't budge much at all.

Does anyone know of any other tricks or ways that I can take this off? I am afraid if I pull too hard, the spoiler or window will crack. Do I need to take my time with the heat gun? Will that method eventually work?

All input is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I tryed the 3M window weld and I can never get that stuff to work right on my roof spoiler, mine keeps coming off by the outside heat. I bought this Debond Marine Formula, but haven't tryed it yet. I was going to wait until I wash my car and take off the roof spoiler and try that stuff to remove it. here is the website http://marineformula.com it says that it will remove the 3M 5200 one, but I don't know if it will take off the 3M window weld. I would think it would. it also show's a video about the 3M 5200 being removed. hope that helps you out

Just pull each side off individually. It should come off.

Otherwise, use a knife to just cut through the window-weld.

I'm curious as to the outcome of this too...was thinking fishing line, or thin wire tied to 2 pieces of pvc, maybe?
