!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok , I have a 04 TL automatic . The car is 2 years young and has about 74,000 miles on it .
1. When I go to accelerate , lets say to pass someone ( pedal completely down ) the car will not respomd until about 5 seconds later.
2. In park , if i give it a little gas the car will start shaking or start putting like it wants to turn off.
3. Once I engage drive and I give it a little gas the car does not respond until about 3 seconds later .
Is there someone out there can help me with what might possibly be wrong. I am thinking its the transmission because I previously had a horrific problem with my 98 Accord V6 but not sure . Any info would be greatly appreciated.

when you say the car will not respond do you mean the engine won't rev or the engine revs but you're going nowhere?

Good question. I was thinking engine but he mentions transmission, so who knows?

I guess it's out of warranty otherwise he'd have it at the dealer. It doesn't sound safe to drive. I'd have it towed to a trusted shop ASAP.

the engine will rev most of the time , but other than that it does not it just eventually kicks in at whatever rev it would normally be at

When the engine revs, does the transmission not hook up? Or does the engine stutter and stall even in neutral?

Have you had a service tech look at it?

What does that mean, can you explain a little more in detail?
