I just finished changing the license plate bulbs, I put everything back together and now my trunk wont close unless i force it. On my way home it opened by itself. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what it can be? Thanks in advance.

 

did you mess with the rubber adjuster screws on the truck lid itself? check those and try to screw them in a little so it will let the trunk sit lower and catch the latch better.

 

Thanks for the info. Turn out I needed a new trunk latch assembly. I some how destroyed what holds the small spring inside the latch. I was able to scoop one up before the dealer closed. The damn thing cost me $80! Either way I installed it myself and everything works fine.
