Battery, alternator, starter- depends what it's doing when you open the door (are there lights?) and go to turn the key. What happens? Is there a click? Does the engine attempt to start? Is the new battery dead?

Sounds like something is draining the battery. HFL and Navi are 2 of the culprits. Do a search, there's tons of discussion on this issue.

Welcome to the forums.

Please don't post the same topic in three different forums, which we frown on.

I deleted one of your threads and merged the other two threads together since there were replies.

This will also explain why some of the replies seem repetitious.

How would the nuts have anything to do with your battery draining?

So you lost the nuts that hold tight your terminals on to the battery?

If your terminals are loose enough not to make contact w/ the battery, that could cause the problem. Go to autozone or home depot & buy some nuts to secure your terminals, & if still nothing then you have a parasitic draw.

So I found out the problem ,I have and after market alarm that's connection is also in the starter so if my alarm isn't working the engine work start it's a anti theft system ,so my car alarm remote battery died which was making the engine not turn on ,I switched the battery and my car starts

I would still get the nuts that secure the battery terminals. A loose terminal can cause all sorts or problems, including no starts.

I'm glad you got your car started!

tighten down your battery cables, so we can avoid another thread stating you lost your nuts.

Focus on this before your damn headlights or you'll have fierce headlights that don't work as you are stranded on the side of the road.
