So I recently tried to do the front side-marker mod, but I ran into a problem. One of the lights work, but the problem is that according to my acura dealership, the leds are drawing too much power from the car and that caused all the leds around my navi screen to go out (hard to believe, since the leds were built to run on 12v of current).

Also, my rear tail lights only seem to work when I brake or use my remote start. So at night, it pretty much looks like I'm driving with my tails out.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this or where I can buy some cheap replacement side markers so Acura can look at my car? They won't work on it with the mod's on right now.

Any ideas? Maybe I can replace a fuse, but I still don't know which one. I def. can't afford to be driving at night (which I wont be) without my taillights on.

 

Ok, so after the huge # of responses I got, I fixed my problem. Found out it was pretty much just a fuse needed to be replaced. =)

Yeah, thanks for asking. I didn't even know my lights were out until a buddy of mine told me when he was driving behind me. I also noticed that the wire I used to connect (+) and (-) was too high. Thats probably why the other lights went out.
