So about a month ago also my check engine light came on for the APP sensor when I check the code slowly more and more while I was driving the car will go into limp mode and I would just turn the car off and turn it back on but yesterday when I was driving the car started acting up now it's not driving in forward or reverse I don't know if it's the APP sensor or if it might be the transmission everybody saying this to transmission but I had no previous problem with my transmission my car is currently at 165 k, the RPM gauges goes up but the car does not move please help

 

RPM up/down and no movement is NOT the APP sensor. This would more than likely be something within the transmission or axle assembly.
