The driver's side carpet clip/hook in my 2005 TL broke, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement. It is sewn onto the carpet bottom, and looks like this:
The closest part list I've been able to find is in location "D" in the following graphic:
Any ideas what the part number of this clip/hook is and where to get it without replacing my whole front carpet?
If it was sewn onto the carpet, I'm willing to bet you can't buy it separately as its apart of the carpet.
Acura doesn't make parts so that you can replace little components on your own.
They don't expect you to know how to sew things.
Same goes for headlights. If you want to buy new internal headlight parts, like the Type-S diffuser, Acura makes you buy the whole new headlight. They don't expect that you know how to bake headlights and take them apart.

You'll be fine without it. Having removed my carpet completley twice, several of mine are broken. You'll simply need to hold it in position while reinstalling the interior panels. The only PITA location is the B-Pillar, since there are only 3 interior clips. You'll be fine.

I can get the carpet back underneath the running board cover, but the carpet gets pulled out the minute I step in the car and drive. Maybe I'll 3D print something
