I have a question about my CT S/C that I just got installed. I bought the S/C Used from another member and it was missing a few parts. One being the CT tool for the Fuel Pressure Regulator (we used a vice to take care of this problem... as the directions say to do). Now, the issue that im having is that everytime that I step on the gas, it feels as though the S/C is hesitating to kick in. Also at high revs the Car begins to sputter. (ex: If you have the trans in sportsshift and you rev to high without switching gears, the cars sputters) this is the exact same thing that I feel whenever I step on it. Now I dont know if it has anything to do with the FPR tool and maybe since we used the vice, im not getting sufficient fuel to the engine or what the issue could be. I've called CT and they say that they've heard surging at low RPMS but not a high Revs. PLEASE HELP!!!! LEt me know what needs to be done.

I was reading about Superchargers and it says that this could be because too much pressure has built up, and the throttle shaft is not opened all the way. Would I need to buy a bypass valve as it says in the article I read? I thought that the S/C came with one but I can be wrong! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would order an new FPR tool and the part you crushed to make sure that it was crushed properly. Also I would check the fuel pump to make sure it is operating properly. Check the air filter and clean it. Also run some sea-foam through a tank of gas to make sure that the motor does not have carbon build up in it. Lastly, make sure you use the proper weight oil and gas for the car, 91+ mean s 91+
