First off...hello! I am a new TL owner just having bought my '08 on March 28th. I LOVE my car and will more than likely only own Acura TL's from here on out!

Now for my issue. I live in ATL and commute to work. So needless to say I am putting sufficient miles on my TL. My issue is that I started to notice that when accelerating or braking in heavy traffic, there are creaks and pops that come from the center dash. Kinda where the radio and compass are mounted. Now that I have noticed it...it is very annoying. Is this normal for the TL? Can it be fixed?

In this case, a video would help us.

Only because, I wonder if this sound you belive is coming from the dash, is actually coming from the engine bay,and is a worn motor mount knocking back and forth, which IS common in our TLs.

 

Interior squeeks are too common in our TLs. Since there are so many places this can happen, I'd suggest you search the forum for your particular location. Some members have gone to great lengths to find and fix their squeeks.
