Heater question???

Heater question???

Last couple of days i notice my heater not blowing any air at all, i would but the fan level on full blast but nothing is coming out.. I dont know what i should check on first???

blower motor or transistor/resistor. more than likely blower motor.

No, just some signs of heat but no air at all.. Tried the a/c samething...

definately something wrong with the blower motor. Check to see if its getting power, i.e. fuses.

I had the same issue last year. Don't bother troubleshooting the blower motor...follow these instructions to bypass the transistor first http://forums..com/showthread.php?t=506999

If that link is blocked, try a google search for "How to Fix Your Power Transistor Module". The module is the same on several honda and acura cars, and it is a common breakdown item. I pulled the module and soldered in a jumper wire to bypass the thermal cutoff, restoring full functionality to the heater. This should be considered a quick, cheap fix but probably not permanent as this is a safety feature that is being bypassed (although it's debatable how much risk it presents).

Great thanks madpoz, just needed some direction i might aswell just go ahead and get the new blower since is the same as the resistor ..
