Hello Aziners,

I am considering very heavily on taking my car to the dealer but want to figure this out with out taking it there. I've searched high and low throughout Azine to find someone with a similar problem, but may be using wrong key words during my searches. Need you all's help once again and thank you all in advance for your input.

The problem:
When I turn the heat on, and set the temp to 80-86 its only warm air. Once I put it on Hi, then it's hot air. Same issue when I turn the a/c to below 64 it starts to get cold. When its on Lo, it's cold air. Funny part is sometimes 80 degrees will feel hot and other times 80 will blow cooler cold air. Also when I initially press auto to turn the a/c or heat on I hear a loud flap opening/closing.

What I've checked:
1. My coolant fluid is full with coolant about 1" above the Minimum line on the coolant reservoir container.

2. I have checked the Heater/Water control Valve under the hood and the cable moves in and out when I change the temp inside the car. (Searched and found the DIY on this)

or she's going to the stealership...lol.

might be a possible thermostat problem.
