Unhappy Headlights are uneven

We just got a TL w/ Navi less than 2 months ago. On the way home, with my girlfriend driving the car behind me, I noticed that the driver side light looks dimmer than the passenger side. . When we got home, we parked the car in front of the garage door and realized that the driver side light was significantly shooting lower than the passenger side. Since we also purchased the care program, I figured I'll just let them know that the lights are uneven when I bring the car in. Picked it up, and the lights are still uneven when you shoot it against a wall, but at least when I drove in front of it looking back, it had the same brightness. The difference now is about 2-4 inches in regards to the lightbeam against the door. Anyone else knows if this is how it's supposed to be? Maybe I'm just paranoid over the new car. Thanks!!

the left light is supposed to be jsut slightly lower than the right, i believe. if you throw it on a garage wall that probably is about 1-3 inches.

i believe it's so the light doesnt get into other drivers eyes, but i could be wrong.

That is exactly how it is supposed to be, as zeezz said to prevent blinding oncoming drivers.

Hello,

The lights actually are supposed to be this way so they do not blind oncoming traffic. If you look in your owners manual it also states this somewhere. My 06TL is the same way, thanks..NAA

Std for all cars with HID lights. My past 4 Audi's and my Mercedes were the same way.

Just took my car in for this same problem, and they said the drivers side light is purposely lower to avoid problems with oncoming traffic.

It sure is annoying though.

Go to Japan. Theirs are slightly aimed to the left...I remember several people complaining about this when ordering JDM housings for the 5th gen Accord.
