I was looking to replace my headlights in my 06 TL because they had fully oxidized and turned yellow. The lights ended up projecting a wall of light to the point that no line was even visible on the side of the road. Called a local guy in north NJ and he came out to my house for $95. He resanded and applied a new top layer of clear coat. The headlights are operating as if brand new from the factory. The lights have a nice crisp line from the projector. Highly recommend over head light replacement

Looks nice. Kinda pricey though. I did mine a couple of weeks ago with a kit I bought for $13.00. It does take a bit of work sanding, but not that much. Just depends on how oxidized the headlights are.

 

You can get sand paper for $0.50 each (3 total)
and the clear coat is the big $. You can go cheap or go baller.
