hi everyone.
so i recently bought an 06 TL i got it from a body shop, it was salvaged he rebuilt it. when i turned on the headlights they were nowhere near bright enough thats because the fool ghetto rigged halogen bulbs into the HID bulb spot. he also put in 2007 headlights so the foglights were in the DRL spot. he cut wires and completely bypassed the stock hid system. i bought an aftermarket hid kit and now its fine but i realized that the high beam doesn't work. i know that there is a flap that opens when high beam is activated. but i dont have the plug that powers the flap. so my question is: can i directly attach the red and black wires to the smaller wires next to the bulb power supply?
the white plug is what i need to plug in.








as you can see the wires are badly wired please help i dont know what to do. although there is a pair of wires that was taped up. i think it might be the one that opens the flap. but i was told that i might need some kind of an inverter.
