Headlight Goes Out !

Been having some kind of issue with my 05 TL. Passenger side headlight goes out. For the most part it stays out. Theres been a few times where the headlight actually powered on while I unlocked the car and headlights turn on for the 15 seconds. Once the 15 seconds are up, they turn back off. At this point the passenger headlight no longer powers up. At first I thought it was a bad bulb. But now I'm starting to think it may be an issue with the ballast/igniter ? Please help I'm confused

Did you try replacing the bulb?

I apologize, our Internet-enabled troubleshooting system seems to be having difficulties connecting to your car so you'll have to help us help you troubleshoot.

I would start by flipping the bulbs from drivers to passenger side. If it still goes out then it's pretty indicative that it's the ballast. You can flip the ballasts as well to confirm though.

Go to theretrofitsource.com to buy replacement bulbs (OEM or go with their in-house XB35's for some killer budget bulbs that perform GREAT). I'd stick to OEM ballasts for simplicity's sake and for the fact that they are highly reliable.

Good luck.
