So for the past few weeks my headlights have been flickering everytime i either floor it (like merging onto a highway) or more often when i am turning or hit bumps in the road... ITs reall weird actually and i cant figure out what it could be. also to be clear i dont know if its one light or both i think its both. Last night i was driving up a hill and my light was flickering real bad and it went out so i put my fog lights on (i have an 04 TL so fogs are next to HID's) and when i got to the take out place to pick up my food MY drivers side HID was out. So then after i came out of the restraunt and unlocked my car the HID worked again all the sudden.... I was wondering if any of you guys ever had this problem before... I dont think it would be the ballast if its both headlights i guess its possible a blub can be loose? but both bulbs loose would be weird.... Any and all of you guy's input would be awesome because i need this problem fixed now thanks

 

I would say for you to check all the connections, something may be loose...

 

I'd check the drivers side HID to make sure it's not loose. It may only be that side. Good luck........

i had a similar problem a while ago but my passenger light bulb wud flicker and eventually went out...so i figured the bulb just burnt out..changed it and haven't had the problem anymore..it could be that the bulbs are goin bad ???

 

I had moisture in my ballast and after a short time the headlight would go out and come back on later. After I replaced the ballast the problem went away.
