Headlight adjustment question

I've searched numerous threads on the forum, and I haven't been able to locate anyone who has quite the same problem. I replaced my HID headlight bulbs over the weekend, because my passenger side headlight was turning the pinkish color which is synonymous of a bulb on it's last leg. I purchased OEM Philips D2S bulbs (part # 85122), nothing fancy, and referenced the DIY on this forum to replace the bulbs by way of the wheel well (somewhat of a PITA). I did not remove the bumper, and did not remove the headlights. The only item I removed was the battery. After successfully replacing the bulbs, I took the car for a short drive, only to notice my headlight adjustment was WAY off. I have included pictures below to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. I attempted to adjust the headlights using a phillips head #2 screwdriver, but no luck. The beam shines to the side, and I'm well aware third gens don't include a horizontal adjustment sprocket. Any help you may provide is greatly appreciated. I am very frustrated at this point. Thanks all!

dont mess with the headlight adjustment if all you did was change the bulb.

i bet the bulb isnt seated properly and is tilted. There is a little nub on the projector that keys with the bulb. The bulb has to be rotated a certain way for proper install.

Remove your bumper and get to them a lot easier because the wheel well method didnt work for you. Then readjust your headlight level.

Thanks for the input from the both of you. Instead of taking the easy way out, I'll take the bumper off this time around to see what's going on. I'll let you guys know what I find. Thanks again.
