Have you tried changing the tires?

Cheap tires...which seem to be what the TL comes with from factory...can be a big, if not THE cause of the vibration and rattles...especially in the center console.

Sorry if this solution has already been tried but was just reading another "rattles" thread and noticed most of the people complaining about it are still on stock tires.

I know you shouldn't have to fork out another couple hundered bucks for new tires on a car that is only a few months old but buying new tires beats the hell out of having rattles and vibrations throughout the car IMHO

Many people did try to swap tires and some of them did get less vibration. But, there seem to be two major vibration here, the driveline and the EL42s. IMO.
