Grinding Sound
Hey guys, thanks advance for the help and advise.
i have a 2005 TL AT. I discovered recently there's a grinding noise whenever i tried to make a turn ( both left and right)
i am not sure if it's from the axle or the lower control arms or maybe somewhere else. but i am sure it's from the front. The noise mostly occur when the weather is cold and when the car starts up in the early morning. it completed goes away after i drive it for 10+ min.
i want to get this fix ASAP because winter is coming and that grinding sound kinda scares me.
Thanks again for the help.

you'll have to inspect the suspects yourself.
we, over the internet, cannot see, touch, or inspect your car...
jack the car up and look at the axles.
then look at the control arms.
if something is broken or out of place, you'll notice quickly.
however; if its a bushing or something small, you'll have a hard time finding out the problem.
again, its best if you take a look at what you think is wrong and see if you can spot any thing damaged..

sounds like an axle issue. are you sure it's a grinding noise? or is it more like a click or knocking type noise?
i had a clicking/knocking noise only when cold outside and at initial first thing in the AM start up on the first few turns. went away after 5 minutes (grease warmed up). turned out to be outer CV joint (boots were intact on mine).
if it really is grinding then it could be anything.
