so after sitting for a long 4 months i finally got my car back today it needed a transmission

bought a tranny for $1276 with 65k on it.. only upside

got in my car

dash board cracked
needs a wheel alignment
VSA light and airbag light on
needs a new alternator


any suggestion on my problems besides the alternator

oh yea and my navi needs a code that i dont kno

 

Navi code can be in your manual or on the DVD Drive in the trunk.

Wheel Alignment is fairly inexpensive. Make sure toe is 0.

May wanna get the airbag light checked. For the VSA light, just hit VSA button near your 'mirror adjustment' button.

 

The navi code can be found on the outer drivers side of the glovebox when you open it. There should be a little tag there

anyone knows where i can get a new dash i looked on ebay they have like dash covers

 

Order the dash cover. Cheaper than buying a new dash.

 

any suggestion on how to get rid of the airbag light on the dash

 

Black tape ? Lol

 

It may be a front impact sensor behind the front bumper. My airbag light was on before and I had the dealer replace the sensor (around $40 i think)

 

any issues with buying a used tranny? im stuck in the middle between rebuilt and a used one
