Glare from tint?

Glare from tint?
I just got my windows tinted on Wed. That night while driving around, I noticed that my 3rd brake light was reflecting on to my rear glass. I took it back the next day for them to fix the problem, but they told me that since they tinted the whole window it was going to do that. They offered to cut the tint out behind the light, but I told them that it was ok...maybe I just needed to get used to it. Well today I pulled my cover off the light, and noticed the gasket around the cover was coming off a little bit. I re-glued the gasket and stuck it up there. When I got in my car tonight I noticed it was still doing it.
SO...Do any of you guys have this problem? Should I get them to remove the tint behind the brake light?
THANKS...

Mine did this, the cover was a little loose when I got my car back from the tint shop, but then when I went to my dealership for warranty work I told them the cover was coming loose and they fixed it.....but it just came loose again.
my TL is an '04 though, so maybe that has something to do with it, they seem to have all the problems anyways...

It's not supposed to do that, I have tint and mine doesn't
I've heard of tint shops breaking the brake light cover becuase they didnt remove it correctly. I'd just try to re-adjust it again

^ Drivers side, right next to my damn ear. It's in the assembly where you push the button on the cover to slide it up and down the seatbelt track. There is DIY fix in the 3G garage, but I may let the dealer do it.

Just got mine Friday, and notice this as well. Haven't taken a close look at it since I haven't driven it much. But I know the tint doesn't cover the light.
Is there a procedure (link?) for adjusting the cover?

The reason they didn't push the brake light tight against the glass is because of the tint (the brake light "if " it moves will tear the tint).
My installer shaved the clips on the third brake light ever so slightly to ensure it was snug against the glass but a % less than before because they don't want it "touching" the tint.
I'd say wait until your tint has fully dried after a few days and go back ask them to re-adjust the light, or remove and mount the light yourself. It's probably not pushed in snug against the glass. (if you have the time to kill then take it back to the tint place)
My car is a TSX but the third brake like is almost the same in the sense that it's suppose to be snug against the glass.
Good luck hope it gets fixed.

This use to happen on my Prelude aswell when I would clean the glass on the inside. I would unmount the brake light from the rear deck to clean the glass and then slide it back into place in the day light. Then later when I'd be driving at night I could see the red from the brake lights reflecting onto the glass because the brake light wasn't push back far enough "tight" against the glass.

My 3rd brake light cover was hanging down slightly, so I mentioned it to the dealer while I was getting other things worked on, and he said as long as all 4 clips are in tact, there is nothing the dealer can do about it...
Took it home and pulled it off myself, cleaned inside, and put it back up. For now, it is holding tight enough for no glare.

I've asked the same question on here about that problem. Some had said to take off and remount the brake light, try vinyl tape (the ghetto way), try double sided sticky tape, or try some sticky adhesive to keep the seal tight. I havent tried anything yet because I've had a few blown tires I needed to take care of first (and got rims for the car instead! yess!!), but I hope one of these options helps you out. I've got to try something soon myself, its driving me crazy at night!
