Front left side marker dim, flickers, sometimes goes out

Hey everyone,

My front driver's side marker light has started acting up. I noticed it started coming on at only about half the normal brightness. When it's on, I can see the brightness vary (it sort of flickers). Sometimes it goes out completely, only to be on (at half brightness) next time I get in. Would this be an issue with the bulb, or the wiring going to it, or something else? I appreciate any ideas on how to figure out the problem.

Mine does the samething, Usually when I lock or unlock the car. When it's on for a while it's to full brightness.

Speaking of Cloquet, I should mention that it started doing this well before the weather got cold.

LED side markers on the fender? If so replace the sidemarker.

That's the one. Didn't know I had to replace the whole thing, but it looks like I can get a complete brand new set for $40:

mine does the same thing. I read another thread that replacing it doesnt work either...

i've seen several TLs with specifically the drivers side being dim.

I guess one way to confirm is to remove the sidemarker and test with a multimeter.

i'm hoping its just a bad batch of drivers side LEDs. Like above you can swap with the passenger side to see if it lights up the same, or more precisely measure the voltage at the harness.

I bought those same ones when my Front passenger side one started acting up. I decided to replace all four of them to match things up. They have been working great ever since . I'm glad replacing mines solved my problem, figured it was the leds inside going bad.

^^ How do these look compared to stock? Any better or worse? Also how is the fitment, does it fit like an OEM unit would? Do you have any pics?

My 04 does the same thing. Are these lights dealer only? If not, best place to get them?
What is the procedure for removing?
Thanks

I like them a lot better than the stock ones and they look better in person than the pictures. Only pictures I have is when I installed them. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=808744&page=2

Fitment isn't bad, mines all clinked in nicely. I remember reading threads where people sand off the tabs a bit to get it to sit flush.
