Fog problems

so I tried to do the independent fogs and it didn't work can someone help?

according to the instructions I seen you have to cut the blue white off the combination switch behind the wiper switch I ran a piece of speaker wire from there the switch side to the fog relay. cut the blue black wire connected it to the relay side and nothing. no fogs everything else but no fogs? if I put the test light on the bare connections than the fogs come on independently as desired with the switch?

can someone help?

07-08 TL?

I can definitely help. You sure you connected to the switch side of the BLU/WHT and not the harness side?

Also, you sure you connected the BLU/BLK on the harness side?

You can test normal function by grounding the BLU/BLK wire. If the fogs turn on, then you'll know the problem is on the combination switch side.

I did the same thing you don't hook it to the switch side of the blue white wire you hook it to the other blue white wire in your first picture
