Fog Light Went Out

Fog Light Went Out

So my fog light went out...and i changed the bulb like 3 times already...(using nokya yellow bulbs) but the problem was teh bulbs looked fine....so i notice the same day i changed it....it went out that night....i checked the connector at work today...and it was burned up...luckily we had the connector in stock...and i swapped it out...works fine now....just wondering if anyone else has had their connector burn out??

Sounds like it's drawing too much current --> check the fuses for the fog lights? wrong one in place? I'd bust out a voltmeter/ammeter and check the current draw.

I'm not sure upgrading the fuse will prevent the connectors from burning out. If the wire/connector cannot withstand the current needed to power the fog, it will burn out. Fuse is there to protect the wire/connector by limiting the current flow. Increasing size of the fuse means you have a rish of having the connector/wire burned.
