Alright, I recently bought a 05' TL 6-Speed that has the a-spec lip and yellow fogs. I am not sure where the fog lights were purchased or anything about them, but they get VERY hot. The idiot I bought the car from put tint on the fogs, becuase they blind you without them on and the tint has melted. I peeled some of the tint off, because it looks horible and the lens look melted too. Anyone have this problem or know how to figure out the fog light kit I have? I am guessing I can get a new ballast or new bulbs and it should fix the issue, but I am new to TL's! Thanks..

Sounds like the previous owner put HID's in a cheap fog light housing, and it melted. You can swap the lenses out for some quality ones and switch back to halogen light bulbs.

 

Either that or they put in some higher wattage bulbs instead of the 55W 9006 bulbs.
